Pullover $225
Cardigan $250

These sweaters have been a part of Norwegian folk dress since the mid-nineteenth century. Among the many names for this style are: the Sete Valley sweater, the Setesdal sweater, the lusekofta, the louse coat or jacket. It was traditionally a man's garment, but time has changed that. These sweaters look great on women, too. There is usually one set of patterns around the bottom and at the cuffs and another, larger set at the shoulders and top of the sleeves. In between are the "lice." I have used a more familiar doubled-over, round neck.

Follow the links to see different louse coat options. The options pictured are not the only ones available!
